We've only just got round to reviewing now, Croston home improvements did a garage door and a veranda for us in October and we are really pleased with their work! Jay, Graham and Jeff were all professional and friendly, and did an amazing job. Everything was completed to the time frames given by Marie in the office, who kept us updated throughout. We have been enjoying using the new space under our veranda. We would not hesitate to use Croston home improvements for any further work, thank you for doing a great job!

We recently had Croston Home Improvements carry out a full house project for us which included garden landscaping and a large rear extension. To say we’re thrilled with the results is an understatement!

From the start, the team handled everything seamlessly - including surveying, fitting and finishing and were always on hand to tackle any unexpected issues that came up. Ben even came round a few times just to check in and make sure we were happy with the progress which was a really thoughtful touch.

The extension is absolutely beautiful. The works involved removing the old conservatory and French doors to create a modern open-plan space. There were some unexpected challenges early on such as a hidden manhole and waterlogged ground, but these were quickly resolved with additional piling added to ensure everything was structurally sound.

Inside, the quality of the finish is spot on. The new windows, doors, skirting and plastering all look fantastic. They also added new radiators, spotlights, dimmer switches and extra sockets - everything was done with such attention to detail.

We are also just as chuffed with the garden makeover. The team lifted the old paths, removed tree stumps, installed land drains and put in a new feather-edged fence. They also laid fresh turf and created a lovely new patio with gorgeous stonework. It’s all come together beautifully.

I was introduced to Croston Home Improvements as possible Contractor to refurbish a house myself and my wife had bought in November 2024. After meeting with them I put my faith in them to deliver a home to my exacting standards. There are always going to be challenges and surprises on building projects; I am pleased to say all were overcome by management and tradesmen employed by CHI.

We had a conservatory replaced and built at my mother's house. From the initial meeting, everyone was very knowledgeable, meticulously organised and everything was carried out to a very high standard. The level of communication was excellent and all work personnel turned up exactly.when they were meant to. The work was carried out to a high level and any small issues were dealt with straight away. I would have no hesitation in recommending the company.

We commissioned Croston Home Improvements for our large extension at the rear of our house as they had previously done work for us on smaller projects, and we were also impressed with the quality of their operation when we visited their offices in Chorley.

The work involved a three-meter extension with five window bifold doors wrapping around the building for a utility room. They worked with us from start to finish keeping us fully informed about plans to planning process and when each trade was going to arrive and perform work.

We have to say that the professionalism shone through, all the trades needed for this work were excellent and the site was cleared regularly keeping everything clean and tidy.

The build was kept on track and all work was completed to a high standard, one item that impresses the most was the willingness to return to pick up any snags that were identified, you hear of so many horror stories where once payments have been made the builder disappears and you cannot get them back, Croston Home Improvements is not one of these businesses they have been more than willing to get the build correct and have gone way above expectations even down to the smallest details.
